hi, i'm colby, i live in california, though i'm in the process of moving to washington. i have two cats, i'm trans, i draw for a living and travel cross-country to sell.

in january of this year, i was diganosed with stage 1b1 cervical cancer, by march i had beat it, but i was left with a long list of bills to beat.

i make enough by art to pay rent, to buy food, to pay my bills, and get by just fine, but even with my increased productivity lately, i haven't been able to really cut a deep hole in the medical debt.

i had to get an mri, a pet, several blood draws, and have several oncology appointments. all of them were done over 2 hours from me as i live in a very rural area and had to seek a specialist. after two solid months of travel time, scans and prodding and tests, they decided a full radical hysterectomy was the only way to safely cure me.

my bills themselves came out to just over 3 thousand, that was my cut, what my insurance paid was over 10 grand. my credit card got ran up a couple hundred from gas, and thank goodness i didn't have a traditional job, so i didn't 'miss work', but i did fall behind a little paying back my credit card in the month of march and early april.

for nearly two months, i've tried to work my hardest to pay off this without any help, but i'm beginning to need a little. my bills, because they were done at different facilities, all have their own minimum payments, and im stuck writing checks for over 5 different places each month just to keep my credit clean. i don't expect the entire amount, but even writing off one 500 or 600 dollar bill will ease my life just that much more and give me a little monthly relief. especially since my savings account is about to go toward a move, and replacing my (recently)  stolen computer.

considering my pride is a little cautious of just taking money freely, i am offering a few levels of rewards !

i cannot express enough appreciation at whatever is given, all of it will be going directly to my medical bills. i'll be updating this with an imgur gallery of all the pictures of my bills as proof, and as i write checks and send them to the facilities, ill post those up as well. i want to be as transparent as possible that this money is ONLY going toward my debt and that is all.
