Colby's Medical Fight After Dog Mauling

My name is Colby Borden. On December 26th, I was mauled by my own dog that I've raised since a puppy. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was not able to obtain medical insurance prior to this event. I have applied for Medicaid, but of course, that takes time too. I was sent to University Hospital via EMS the day of the attack and sent home the following morning with loads of medical bills.

One day later, my girlfriend went to change my shorts and noticed a foul smell and brought me to Ochsner main campus. They immediately took me and admitted me to the hospital as I was sick with sepsis and six other infections. I stayed there for 10 days.

Due to the severity of the wound, I'm no longer able to work for at least three months. I desperately need help with my medicine that keeps me fighting off the infection that I'm dealing with from the attack. I also need help with medical supplies as I don't have a wound VAC; my girlfriend is changing my dressings twice a day.
