Colby Primary School Year 6 Legacy Project

Children from Colby Primary School have volunteered to take part in an exciting fundraising activity at school. As part of the year 6 legacy project, Sports Leaders have decided they want to raise money for some new goal posts. The football team have been incredible this season, performing brilliantly and setting an excellent example to the year groups below.

The Sports Captains have had the awesome idea of completing a sporting challenge to increase their fitness, spend time with their families and raise money for their school in one super event.

The event!

• As a team, Sports Leaders will cycle the entire length of Britain (1,407km)

• Log their rides on strava

• Sports Captains will track how far the team have cycled and update the school spreadsheet

• Each leader can volunteer a set distance (minimum of 20k)

• The challenge must be completed within a 4 week period (23rd June- 20th July)

• Raise as much money as possible!

This challenge is a fun and exciting thing for the children to do but it is going to take a lot of commitment from children and their families.
