In honor of the tragic death of Colby Gillis on June 5th, 2019. He served his country as a member of the Navy Riverines and then found his passion as an EMT/Paramedic. He loved every day that he could put on the uniform and go to work to save lives. He was so good at what he did that he recieved an award from Thomas County for personally saving four lives prior to hospitalization. In lieu of flowers, the Gillis family requests that you donate to Colby's Scholarship in his memory. All donations will go directly to a deserving recipient who attends the Southwest Georgia Technical College EMT program in honor of Colby and the profession he loved.
We raised the bar,  Colbys friends and family friends are recieving so much comfort watching this tribute grow and your generousity. They are just so incredibly thrilled over the donations to Colbys Scholarship emt fund that they want to thank each and every one of you .
