We are raising funds to directly support our Colburn colleagues who lost their homes to the wildfires. Thank you for helping if you can.

Dear friends,

I hope you are in a safe place and that your loved ones, pets, neighbors, and instruments are secure.

I work at Colburn, a performing arts school in downtown Los Angeles. Many in our Colburn community are navigating devastating loss as wildfires continue to blaze throughout Los Angeles. At this time, the fires have burned more than 29,000 acres, destroying thousands of buildings and entire neighborhoods. It is difficult to comprehend the scope of this destruction, and our hearts go out to everyone impacted by this disaster.

These are photos of their actual homes. It's heartbreaking and I know we all want to do what we can.

So, I created this fund to support Colburn faculty and staff and their families facing incalculable challenges because they have lost their homes to the wildfires.

100% of donations to this campaign will be distributed equally among the faculty and staff who lost their homes to help them rebuild their lives.

If you are in a position to do so, I know everyone at Colburn joins me in hoping you will contribute to this fund and share with those in your circles who are in a position to help.

We are all grateful for your help as we work together to support those affected by these tragic fires. We have done our best to be in touch with our Colburn community members, but have not been able to reach everyone.
