Col Musa Bangura, as a young Captain; was captured and held hostage alongside 11 Royal Irish Regiment soldiers in Gaberi Bana in 2000. He was subjected to especially harsh treatment at the hands of the West Side Boys, and he still carries the wounds of that treatment to this day.

He has recently been retired from the Armed Forces and has fallen on some hard times, I am asking those who served alongside him to chip in a couple of quid to allow him some wriggle room to figure out his next moves.

A small amount of money will go a long way in Sierra Leone.
