Coffee Farm Family in Brazil Mudslide/Flood Relief

Right now you may be drinking a cup of coffee while viewing this campaign and you might not realize where your coffee originates from.  In January, parts of Brazil were devastated by heavy rains, flooding, and mudslides.  Some of the hardest hit areas were the rural coffee farms in Minas Gerais state especially those in the mountainous regions.  Much of the best coffee in Brazil is grown in this region by small farmers who had little to begin with.   There is no insurance.
   On January 27th at about 1030pm the home and coffee farm of my brother-in-law's brother, Eneas Pinheiro, was devastated by a mudslide. Fortunately he heard the slide starting and managed to escape with his wife,  and two son's (one of which is an autistic adult).   They lost all of their possessions but escaped with their lives.  His youngest son, William, is an aspiring photographer and lost all of his equipment.
   The mudslide also damaged his Uncle's home and blocked access to his elderly parent's home; they were surrounded by a sea of red mud.  Access to their area was already difficult but now the dirt roads are buried or blocked.  Unfortunately this was not an isolated case as many were affected by this devastation.
   Any funds raised will go to benefit Eneas and his family including his parents to help rebuild their home, clear the roads, replace possessions to include clothing, and stabilize the coffee farm which is their sole source of income.
   I hope to travel to Brazil in May and deliver any relief raised.
