CofC Mens Rugby National Championship

Donation protected
The College of Charleston Men's Rugby Team for the second season in a row has qualified for the National Collegiate Rugby Challenge Cup National Championship, taking place in Houston, Texas!

We are a self-funded rugby club, which means that funds for travel, lodging, registration, and most other team expenses fall on our players. Our club is made up of full-time students, many of whom work one if not multiple jobs to support themselves in addition to attending three trainings each week.

Your donations to the CofC Men’s Rugby Club will be going towards getting us to Houston, Texas, as well as food, lodging, and transportation costs for the team during our stay.

In this first season back after almost two years off due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Cougar Rugby family rallied back with an undefeated regular season, featuring big wins over Wake Forest and Elon. The Cougars kept that momentum running into the playoffs, with a statement 58-7 victory over Emory and Henry, followed by a gritty come from behind victory over the 10-0 Widener University.

Now the Cougars have their eyes set on Houston, Texas where they are set to face Western Oregon University in the NCR Challenge Cup Semi-Final on December 10th!
