Hi I'm Nicole!

In a few weeks time along with 7 others we'll be attempting to become the first crew to row around the UK anticlockwise!!

Mental i know!

Why am i doing it? I'd like to encourage women to get involved in sports at any age of life. The joy and inner peace various forms of exercise have given me over the years is priceless!

Living on the boat, rowing shifts of 2 hours on, 2 hours off our boat Nanook will become our home.

We set off from Eyemouth on around the 01/06/2024 depending on the weather of course, aiming for as close to 30 days as possible.

We'll be well equipped for 50 days to be safe.

Diagnosed coeliac disease about 15 years ago as well as following a plant based diet for what feel like a lifetime the food will be my biggest challenge. I'll be taking a Follow alonglot of Huel protien and their korma high protein meal as well as a few options from Firestarter rations.
