Cody Scott’s Fight Against Cancer
Eric and Stacia Scott, lifelong residents of Carmel, Indiana, are the devoted parents of three young boys: Shepherd (6), Easton (4), and Cody (2). The Scotts are deeply loved in their community and have spent their lives serving others—particularly helping mothers recover from the emotional and physical journey of childbirth and postpartum life. Their faith in Jesus and their tight-knit family bond are central to who they are.
On July 1st, 2025, their world was turned upside down.
After weeks of fevers, leg pain, and lethargy, 2-year-old Cody was diagnosed with Stage M High-Risk Neuroblastoma, an aggressive pediatric cancer. His cancer originated near his adrenal gland and has spread to his stomach, liver, clavicle, bones, and bone marrow.
What began as a few concerning symptoms quickly escalated into every parent’s worst nightmare. After an initial ER visit offered little clarity, Cody's health declined further. A second visit to IU North led to an urgent transfer to Riley Hospital for Children, where MRI results confirmed the devastating diagnosis.
Cody has already begun intense chemotherapy—5-day inpatient treatments, followed by 21 days off, in repeating cycles. His fight will also include multiple surgeries, stem cell and bone marrow transplants, and additional rounds of chemotherapy.
The Scotts are facing not only the emotional and physical toll of this journey but also the financial burden. As small business owners, the cost of care—even after insurance—is overwhelming.
We are asking for your help.
Your donation will support medical expenses, travel, time away from work, and ongoing care for Cody. Most importantly, your support allows Eric and Stacia to focus on what matters most: being fully present for their boys.
If you’re unable to give financially, we ask that you join us in praying boldly for Cody’s healing, for strength and peace for the Scott family, and for wisdom for his medical team.
We will share updates on Cody’s journey here as often as we can. Thank you for surrounding this precious family with love and support during the hardest fight of their lives.
