Cody’s New Handicap Van

Hi, my name is Shane Eaton and I am Cody’s father. Cody is a 17 year old boy who was born with, and has lived his entire life with, cerebral palsy (Dandy Walker Syndrom). Although Cody cannot walk, talk, or sit unsupported, he is the happiest boy in the world and the light of our lives! Recently Cody has been in the hospital for over 40 days for complications with his feeding and infections. As a result of some of his newer medical challenges it has become apparent that we are going to need to travel more, and further, for his medical needs. We do currently have an older mobility vehicle for Cody and his wheelchair, but we need to find a way to upgrade to a more reliable vehicle. We do plan on trading in his current van and putting that toward the new van, but that doesn’t even come close to the costs needed. These vehicles are very expensive due to the ramp alterations that must be made. I am asking for your help to get Cody his new van. Those of you who know us and Cody understand that we would do the world for him. I appreciate anything you can do to help us get Cody the care he will need to make his life perfect.
