I was born with a heart defect and I have a pacemaker as of a month ago it stopped working a lead broke and I was taken out of work due to safety concern. I have been out of work for about month waiting on surgery and it’s planned for August but I am not able work again until after surgery recovery which is about 3-4 weeks after surgery. After learning about the pacemaker issue I was diagnosed with lung cancer it’s an early stage. When I was 9 years old we lost our father to a form of lung cancer. I am hopeful that this can be treated and I will be able to live a long life any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
