Hello, my name is Cody Kurtz. I live in Jonestown, Texas. Recent flooding here severely damaged my home’s roof and caused extensive water damage inside. As a widower now living with my fiancée and her young daughter, I’m repairing the interior myself to the best of my abilities but lack roofing experience. My 30-year-old roof, unsupported by insurance, urgently needs replacement to protect our home. After losing my spouse in 2019, I struggled to not lose this home, but I managed to keep it and returned to college and earned a bachelor’s degree while working full-time. I began playing in my church's worship band and volunteer at our monthly food bank. As a devoted man of faith, I humbly seek help to replace our roof, ensuring safety for my family. I wouldn’t ask if the need wasn’t critical.
