Hey everyone! 

Im Cody Richmond, a nursing graduate from Charleston SC that moved to Virginia Beach to start my career as a nurse. I have been nominated to study abroad in South Africa by Envision. The program is called International Scholar Laureate Program. I have this opportunity by being a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and being nominated.  My elegibility to go is through my hardwork and dedication that has resulted in numerous accomplishments in school.

- I am a 24 year old nursing graduate that loves to serve others

- I have had the opportunity to provide medical care on 3 separate occasions in Uganda Africa with One World Health. Throughout nursing school I was elected president of the Student Nurses Association for my program. Also, I received the Palmetto Gold award as a student for my school. In my spare time I would work as a student coach for the nursing program and tutor nursing students in my program. 

- I am a camp counselor at camp Happy Days, which is a summer camp for cancer patients that is a fun filled week of activities. 

These are just some of my accomplishments the past few years and this study abroad trip will significantly increase my knowledge across the board as a nurse. I will be able to prove better care for my patients in the future! All my donors will be helping me become a more competent nurse , so please donate!
