Cody Castillo's Cancer Treatment Fund

Our friend, Cody Castillo, was diagnosed with Seminoma Testicular Cancer in February 2022. In March, he underwent surgery but later learned that he would also require chemotherapy. Cody will have four rounds of chemo from June 20 to August 26.

Cody and his girlfriend, Marie Iannazzo, live on Madeline Island and travel to Ashland, Wisconsin for his treatment. This transportation includes a weekly ferry boat ride to Bayfield and an hour of driving to/from Ashland for five consecutive days.

Cody has already completed his first round of chemo (yay, Cody!) and his brother, Kye, and I (Marie’s best friend) decided a fundraiser would be the best way to give him support and invite friends/family near and far to help make his recovery as smooth as possible.

We hope to raise enough money to pay for ferry boat tickets, gas for Cody and Marie to get to his appointments, and lost wages. Both Cody and Marie work in the service industry, where the summer months are the busiest and most lucrative. Cody will miss three months of work, and Marie will be unable to work the 20 days Cody is receiving chemo. Your donation will help pay bills and ease the financial burden of Cody’s cancer treatment.
