On Friday, October 23rd, Cody Sutton was involved in a car accident that took his life.  Our hearts go out to all of Cody's family and close friends, especially his wife, Jesika Sutton and his daughter, Emelia (5 years old).  Cody will be remembered as a loving soul with a big heart.  He has left a lasting impact on those that knew him and he will truly be missed.

A group of friends of Cody & Jesika are starting this campaign to help Jesika & Emelia as they grieve and work through this traumatic experience.  Although we know that the pain goes so much deeper than finances can mend, we also know that new and unexpected costs will now be a part of what Jesika will need to work through.  The average funeral can run between $7,000 and $12,000.  Unexpected childcare costs, the need for more order out meals, and the ongoing costs of investing in care related to this loss all add up quickly.  Beyond the immediate, long term goals, such as planning for a fund to send Emelia to college can easily be left aside.

While we do not know the immediate and exact need of Jesika and Emelia's burdens, we do know that anything you can offer would be greatly appreciated to alleviate one of the many stressors related to Cody's passing.  We are grateful for any amount that you can share to support Jesika & Emelia in this way.
