Hello friends and family—

On April 5, 2022 our sweet cousin, Carol, unexpectedly lost her 32 year old son, Cody Plummer, due to a heart failure likely caused by Covid or an unknown virus. Carol also tragically lost her only other son, Brandon Plummer, 13 years ago at the age of 21 when a police officer crashed in him accidentally while on a high-speed chase. To make all of this worse, in December 2020, Carol also lost her husband to pancreatic cancer. For the last two and a half years she has been caring for her husband who was battling cancer and then began caring for Cody when his heart condition was diagnosed. Carol never stopped working or rescuing dogs on top of caring for her elderly mother and her only grandson.

Carol is such a loving, hard working, caring Christian who will give her shirt off her back for anyone. In between helping others, Carol dedicates her time to saving dogs. When discussing this Go Fund Me to go towards assisting Carol during this unfathomable grieving period and lift some financial burden for her to give her a break, Carol insisted that it not benefit her. She was only concerned about Nathaniel and him losing his daddy. Once again she is just always thinking of others. What Carol does want is to know her grandson, Cody’s only son, Nathaniel will be okay. She wants him to be able to go to college. Nathaniel also has a serious medical condition, MCAD, so he could have large medical bills over his lifetime. This Go Fund Me will be put into a savings account for Nathaniel Plummer managed by Carol to go towards his education and any other urgent needs he may have since his daddy will not be there to provide these things. Please if you can help us give Nathaniel this gift and Carol the peace of mind that Nathaniel will be taken care of financially, we would really appreciate your love and generosity. And more than anything, please keep Carol and Nathaniel in your prayers. They have been through so much!
