Gone to soon
Hello, I am writing this in deepest regret to announce the passing of Cody McNeil. Most importantly, Cody was a father to two young girls Aurora (3), and step daughter lily (8). He's a son, a brother, an uncle, a lover, a cousin and friend to many who considered him family.
The loss of a life is never easy but one so young still is unmeasurable. Cody was only 34 and suffered from Pulmonary heart disease (the enlargement and failure of the right ventricle caused by high blood pressure in the lung arteries which releases C02 to the brain and caused his lungs to fill with fluid). Unable to manage his condition anymore, the family stayed next to him in his last moments.
With his infectious smile, jokes, and big heart, he was always putting a smile on someone's face or helping others when he didnt have the means to himself.
I am creating this in hopes to help raise money for the family to be able to lay him to rest.
We have hopes to raise enough to secure a small venue for friends and family to say their goodbyes, a gravestone and the fees that come with that, and really anything we can contribute to his children. As Cody had been suffering for a while, he was unable to work without shortness of breath. So, anything really helps and will go a long way.
This loss has affected many, growing up in such a small town. We’d like to thank anyone who is able to contribute to the cause. Even just your support and kindness. If we are able to reach any of our goals, I will post updates to where your contribution is going.
Thank you so much!
Rest in Paradise Cody
Sincerely the family
I will announce dates and location as soon as we are able to secure things
