Late Monday night, December 11th, Cody’s mom, Lisa, stayed up waiting for a phone call from Cody saying he got home safely after spending the weekend with her and his sisters. Instead, she woke up to detectives knocking on the door early the next morning with his bag and the news of his horrific car accident. The family’s entire world came crashing down on them Tuesday morning.

The loss of Cody Maurice Jordan will be felt by many as he had a huge impact on everyone he crossed paths with. He resided in San Diego for the last two years, where he managed a bakery and had the chance to fulfill his passion day by day. Anyone who knew Cody knew that he was able to make everyone laugh from his silly and sassy personality. Every time he smiled, everyone in the room did too because of how contagious his was. Cody was adventurous, fearless and so loving. He spent time with his loved ones as much as he could, especially his dog Chloe Belle. Cody’s unique soul will be missed greatly.

This will forever leave an empty void in his family and friends lives. His death was very unexpected, so during this time his family asks for as much help as they are able to receive. Anything will be greatly appreciated. Please keep his loved ones in your thoughts and prayers.
