Hi, my name is Ben, and I have known Cody for what is to be too brief of a time to describe. Cody was a pillar of friendship, love, and charisma. For legal reasons I can't tell all our stories together, but I can share that he would give you the shirt off his back if it meant that it would keep you warm. As long as I have known him, he always wanted to be a husband and a father. In a way, he did act as a by-proxy "dad" in tight situations. Not only was he a huge influence in my life but he was the inspiration to his own family he had just begun. Cody had a dream to be a pilot but bottom-line a Soldier. He was a Missouri National Guardsmen for over 10 years and an 82nd Airborne Paratrooper for the last few. He volunteered for combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq to do his duty as a Soldier. Cody was a graduate of the University of Central Missouri and constantly talked to me about the next steps in life. His loss to the world and his family cut deeper than any edge of a blade. He is survived by his wife Katie, daughter Georgia, son Bodie, mother Carrie Collett, father Johnny Collett, brother Wyatt Cosner, and sister Alexis Goodale.
All proceeds will go directly to the Cosner Family.
