11yr old Cody John’s recovery & rehabilitation

This “go fund me” fundraising charity is for my 10 year old grandson Cody John Olson! Cody John was SHOT this past July 4, 2023 6 times, twice in the brain, once in his left foot, once in his hip, one in his left forearm and one in his abdomen!
By the Grace of God he survived and he’s improving over the past few weeks! He’s not able to talk that much, but he’s aware of what’s being said. He still has no use of
his left eye, it’s heartbreaking to see him in this condition. I have to remind myself that he’s a MIRACLE because he’s alive by the Grace of God!
All Donations will go to his physical, emotional, psychological therapy, rehabilitation, and all of his medical expenses! We gratefully and deeply appreciate any donation! Every penny will go directly for CODY JOHN’S RECOVERY, PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL THERAPY & HIS COMPLETE REHABILITATION!

It’s really hard for Cody John to comprehend what your saying, with brain trauma, his response is really slow. He doesn’t remember his dogs name or our dogs name. It breaks my heart and brings me to tears, to even type this out after seeing my little Superman today!
On a positive note, he stole my potato chips and ate them. We made a game of it…

He can not talk fully or walk yet, he can not swallow food yet, but he damn sure looks a lot better than he did on July 4th! Praise God!!!
With everyone’s help so far, you have raised nearly $26,000.00 for Cody John in a little over 2 months!!!

Cody John has had 7 surgeries and God only knows how many more he will need, and that’s not even taking into account all of the physical, mental, emotional, psychological rehabilitation he has to go through for God only knows how many years?
This is all because of a Monster who shot our grandson 6 times, on the 4th of July! Cody John’s innocent little body took 2 gunshots to his brain! The Neurosurgeon was only able to remove one bullet! That’s just one of the major surgeries Cody John has already undergone, we still don’t know the extent of his brain damage.

I was told that they are working on trying to get him healthy enough to go home before Thanksgiving, but I have not been able to confirm that yet. I will definitely keep you posted!
