Around 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning, Cody and Amber’s home caught fire. In just 22 minutes, their home was completely engulfed in flames, leaving them standing in the rain without even a pair of shoes on their feet, watching everything they had worked so hard for burn before their eyes.

They lost their home and everything they owned in the fire. Their belongings, memories, and the things they had spent years building were gone in a matter of minutes.

Yet even in the middle of this unimaginable loss, Cody and Amber are incredibly grateful for what matters most: they were together, and they made it out safely.

Since the fire, they have been overwhelmed by the kindness and support of family, friends, and their community. People have reached out with clothing, food, supplies, helping hands, love, and, most importantly, prayers. Every act of kindness has meant more than they could possibly express as they navigate the days ahead.

This fundraiser has been created to help Cody and Amber begin rebuilding their lives and provide for the everyday necessities they now need after losing everything. Donations will help ease some of the financial burden that comes with starting over, from basic necessities and clothing to temporary living expenses and the many unexpected costs that come with losing a home.
