We have had a lot of unexpected events during the pregnancy and after the birth of our daughter Wren. She was born on July 30th via emergency cesarean. Allie's blood pressure was exremely high which was putting her and the baby in critical risks. Within an hour of being checked into the hosital she was prepped and in surgery bringing Wren into the world. Wren was born with fluid on her lungs and was life flighted to the NICU in Tulsa, OK just shortly after birth. Allie was in the hospital for 2 days on heavy meds for pre eclampsia complications. Even after she was released she wasn't well. Wren spent 7 days in the NICU and she was released on August 6th to go home. On August 7th they attended routine appointments for Wren, Allie wasn't feelilng well and went to see her OB who immediately sent her to the ER due to her blood pressure and oxygen levels. Upon arriving to the ER Allie was placed on an IV and sent for a CT. While performing the CT Allie's oxygen level continued to drop. It dropped so low that she went unconscious. Allie's oxygen level dropped to 10% and they lost her heartbeat for 4 minutes. They performed CPR and put her on a ventilator for 3 days. Allie spent a total of 7 days in the ICU and all the complications that occured were from postpartum issues from having her sweet baby Wren. Allie is on leave from work until the end of November due to the recovery time of the complications she had from going into cardiac arrest and other complications that caused it. She will return to work but her leave is unpaid which is making it really hard for her family to maintain bills and the other essentials they need. We are a family of 5 and it is incredibly hard to live with just 1 income. 


Allie is still receiving treatment and being closely monitored until she's released to go back to work. Hopsital bills are racking and the stress is growing. We know everyone has struggles and goes through hard times but we could really use some help during these unexpected hard times we have fallen into.
