Hey everyone, I'm Traci, Codi's friend/Roommate/SoulSister.

Many of you may not know yet, but on Friday, 7/15, Codi, at the young age of 28, suffered a major stroke on the left side of her brain, leaving her paralyzed on her right side and with significant difficulty communicating. This unfortunate event has put her life on pause, and we need all the help we can to get her the best treatment possible. She is stable and making more progress every day. We are currently getting ready to move to an intensive inpatient stroke rehabilitation center but are having issues already with her health insurance approving her at this time, so we have to pay out of pocket. Time is of the essence when it comes to recovering from a stroke; the first three months of relearning are critical!

If you know Codi, you know how creative, talented, stubborn, and strong-willed she is. She's always been independent and provided for herself. Now she's unable to work or do things she loved like sewing and cooking. She's a fighter as we know, so hopefully with everyone's help, we can get her the best care and back to her passions in no time!
