I would like to introduce you to our beautiful niece Codie and her family of six. (Mark - Hubby and their kids, Psalm 6, Luka 5, Sullivan 3, and Little Annakin 1). Mark and Codie recently relocated from Florida to Colorado to be closer to family.
Shortly after their move to Colorado. Cody was diagnosed with Adult Lymphoblastic Leukemia, also known as A.L.L. This form of cancer is rare and is most common in children. Adult outcomes are less positive than with children, but lately, the treatment had been getting better and better which makes us and doctors optimistic.
After her initial diagnosis, she was quickly admitted to a hospital in Colorado where she spent a month on intensive chemotherapy treatment. She is still undergoing chemotherapy but may also move to a stem cell transplant if the chemotherapy is not being as effective as we hope.
A sweet note from her husband Mark: "We love her and she's the best mother we could ever have" .....
