Code Hero, A Fathers Final Farewell

This Go Fund me page has been created to help aid Jennifer and her two young children Emma (6) and Evan (3) following the tragic and unexpected loss of their beloved husband and daddy, Aaron Kemp on Feb. 3rd 2019.
This was a love story that was rooted in a childhood crush and later blossomed into true love. Aaron and Jennifer married in 2012 and were blessed with their perfect princess, Emma followed by their energetic and handsome Evan. The fairy-tale ending was not meant to be for this young family.
Family and friends gathered around Aaron and the Kemp family as Aaron spent one week fighting for his life. Sadly, Aaron passed away in the late night hours of Feb. 3rd, however before taking his final breath, Aaron fulfilled a final act of giving. Aaron and Jennifer were discussing a family tragedy that had occurred just a couple weeks earlier and Aaron told Jennifer that he would always want to help others with organ donation if that were ever to be an option.
When the time came to say goodbye, Jennifer knew that she would honor Aaron's final wishes by initiating the donor paperwork. The hospital prepared for the procedure to donate Aaron's organs and tissues but its what they did to honor Aaron that will be a treasured memory for years to come for Aaron's family. The overhead announcement rang the chimes and stated "Code Hero" three times. As Aaron, was wheeled to the operating room the halls were lined with family and medical staff, who stopped what they were doing to participate in this "honor walk" and show their respect and support to Aaron and his family. Aaron was able to successfully give lifesaving organs (kidneys and liver) and his entire donation contributed to the lives of over 40 people.
Jennifer and Aaron both worked very hard to provide for their family. As is the case with many young families, its a matter of living paycheck to paycheck and making sure the bills are paid. There wasn't money set aside for a life insurance policy, there weren't extra funds set aside to help cover funeral and medical costs. There wasn't preparation made to manage life as a young widow and mom on a single income. Your contributions today will help off-set the financial burdens for this young family. It will help cover the cost of Aaron's funeral expenses, medical expenses and give Jennifer some breathing room as she adjusts to life without Aaron.
