CodaQuest!

Hello future piano players! My name is Patrick, I am a software engineer turned piano teacher, who for the last two years has been working on CodaQuest, a project that I think can change the landscape of music education. CodaQuest is a musical video game that teaches you the basics of playing piano!

The preview you’re about to see is a proof of concept video I made to show off some of the fun designs I’ve created and gauge interest in the idea. I knew there was a huge space in the market for something like this, so to be honest, I was not surprised when this preview went viral. Video games are now a bigger industry than cinema and TV combined, and there hasn't been a blip in the music gaming industry since 2007, when Guitar Hero was making over a billion (with a B!) dollars a year.

So after a period of securing the copyrights and meeting with indie game developers, now comes the time to hire a couple people to add to my team. But to do that, I need your help. 

  I’m asking for your help because I have taken this project as far as I can on my own, and its time to rely on my friends and family and those in the music community that believe in me to help make it a reality.  Thanks so much for your time!

{CodaQuest is a choose your own adventure through the triumphs and tragedies of the music business. A cosmic black comedy that takes you from high school nobody to intergalactic rock star, while teaching you the basics of reading music and understanding theory and the music business. MYST meets guitar hero in a psychedelic journey that combines elements of incremental, room escape, and RPG games. Will you go on to tour arenas and top the charts? Or end up playing Buffet covers for free drinks at the local dive, or even worse...TEACHING? Only your talent can save you from certain mediocrity, muahaha!}
