The Class of 2016 at the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College is made up of 32 amazingly unique people. Each dancer inspires the next, and our creative energy is infectious!
As we prepare for our senior year, we have chosen repertory solos to perform in our Senior Project show and conceptualizing our own choreographic works.
Unfortunately, as a state school, our funds are limited. In fact, this year they have been cut back so the department does not provide us with any funds to go towards our Senior Projects. This means that most of us must pay for choreography, transportation, studio space, costumes, and lighting fees out of pocket. We are reaching out for even the smallest donation that can be divided amongst the class for our individual projects, both our compositions and our repertory solos. This is what we have been preparing for the past four years, so each of us wants to feel confident and proud to deliver the best work we can.
