Cocotazo Foodtruck - Family Owned

Hi Everyone! My name is Frances Roman and I am the founder and Executive Chef of Cocotazo Catering LLC. 

My dream of becoming a chef started in the aromatic kitchen of my mom and grandmother -- both natives to the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.  Over the last  3 years, I've had the privilege of servicing my community with traditional Puerto-Rican dishes with an elevated take and its been a joy to do so since the very beginning.  You may have seen us at the Queens Night market or Bronx night markets here in NYC . 

Cocotazo Catering is a boot-strapped, woman-owned, LGBTQ-owned, minority-owned, family owned and operated business (wow that's a lot LOL!). Our hope is to grow this business to a household name and to bring the recognition and honor to minority chefs and traditional dishes that have long been overlooked.  To keep it simple, we need a permanent location to better serve you all.

This fundraiser will go toward our new food truck! The proceeds will go directly to the design, licensing, and operation of the truck. Every penny is appreciated! Thank you!
