Hello! My son & his grandpa found a kitten 3-4 weeks ago up north at his cabin & brought it home. She was very sick & we didnt know how long shed make it. Someone who is helping me out who works with a rescue has taken her to the vet for me a few times & the vet orginially thought she was born without eyes or the infection ate away at them. Well she was put on an oral antibiotic & an eye ointment & eventually we saw 2 little blue eyes, unfortunatly the infection took over to bad & now she needs both eyes removed or she needs to be put to sleep. I would really like to avoid that as we have already fallen in love with her & named her coconut! the vets are pretty confident that shell do just fine after surgery even being blind. Shes already like doubled in her weight, eats really well & litter box trained in just a few days. & we have 3 other grown cats that she will learn everything from, aside from a little training from us as far as going up & down the steps to use the other litter boxes.

1 vet quoted the other woman helping me out at $1000 but wont do the surgery until shes a little older/healthier the other vet quoted her/us $500 & will do the surgery november 3rd, im guessing the other vet is cheaper because its risky since shes so small/young (about 2.5 months old) that shes not %100 sure shed survive the surgery, but shes confident that if she does survive, she will thrive afterwards!

Any help/share is GREATLY appriciated. I am not %100 sure how to post receipts or the quotes from the vets, but as soon as i figure it out i will post them!
