In Memory of Victor Coburn

Donation protected
On Friday,  August 2nd,  the Coburn house caught on fire and the family lost their beloved Father, Victor Coburn.  I am a co-worker of Jay, and live in  Kansas City.  I've actually canvassed his neighborhood with Red Cross to hand out smoke detectors.  I understand how these tragedies happen.
My co-workers, friends and family, want to help with the immediate expenses to cover the cost of the funeral and burial, current living expenses and for fire damage .  Jay is a superstar where he works, and that is reflected in the conversations he has everyday where he helps others in their lives.  We all aspire to be like him.  We have heard many happy stories about  barbequing in their yard - a beautiful place and a center for the family that plays, lives and worships together.  We want to help keep this core for the family - they have lost their patriarch, but they know that they are all still together.
Any support you can provide will go a long way in the recovery process for the Coburn family.  We will give the funds to Jay who already helps support his family.
There were heroes that day - here is a article on that day.
