Cobra’s Tumor Removal

Donation protected
This doggo needs a bit of help :(

During her annual exam in February, a small mass was found in Cobra’s colon. After more visits and discussions with her vet, the best course for Cobra is a CT Scan to see if anything has spread, followed by surgery with a specialist. This type of tumor could be aggressive in its spread, which is why the girl will be receiving the best care, and that comes at a huge price. The good news is the pupper’s lymph nodes seem normal, her bloodwork is perfect, and the mass is very small !

The ballpark figures have been quoted around $4700-$6000, of which I so far have half. The CT scan, $1200-$1500, will be on 4/18. After, she will have the mass removed for about $3500-$4500. Because of its location, a cheaper surgery elsewhere comes at a greater risk for fecal incontinence (she could lose control of her poos) so I don’t want to risk burdening the rest of her life with that!

For those who may offer these ideas - I have already exhausted Care Credit during these past few months. The type of insurance she has only covers accidents and routine issues. I have written to several pet financial assistance organizations for emergency funds and so far I have only been approved for assistance if she ends up needing chemo.
