Hi my name is Amie, I'm raising funds for my best friend (my dog) Cobi to have surgery. Cobi is 4 years old, he's my support system and I have to help him. I had to take Cobi to an emergency clinic last week after he sustained an injury. I wasn't home when he got hurt but got home as soon as was told Cobi was hurt. It was a miracle I was able to get him in the car, he was in so much pain and was crying.
The vet tech was able to help me get him out of car they gave him pain medication anti inflammatory meds and and sedated him so he could be in less pain and as comfortable as they could make him.
The vet came in the room and explained Cobi's hip is dislocated and he has abnormally shallow hip joints and even if they put his hip back in place it would just come right back out because of how shallow his hip joint actually is. He can have a surgery called Femoral Head Osteotomy AND HE WILL BE PAIN FREE. He will have to have this operation on his left and right side but for now his right side is the priority.
The surgery will be around $6,000 and I don't have the money for what he needs so badly. I've tried to get a loan, pet care credit and was not approved unfortunately. I am currently going through personal belongings and selling anything I can to come up with as much money as I can
I'm doing everything I can possibly do to raise money for Cobi, I just can't do this alone and I need help from generous people like you to make a donation and share my campaign link with everyone you can please. Cobi shouldn't be in bone grinding pain everyday, without this surgery Cobi's pain will not cease and no animal should suffer like this. I don't want to think about having Cobi put down but if I don't raise the money for surgery, I would have to.
