The story so far:
I am Craig Robson. Ex Soldier, ex police officer, owner of Pippas House Nursery, and proud member of the mighty Cobham Rugby Club.
I recently took part in a five van convoy and took donations, made by Cobham Rfc, to Poland which were subsequently taken to Ukraine. Since that mission I have remained in contact with Bartok, a polish man (among many) working hard to coordinate help and assistance to the Ukrainian people. He called me recently to express how much they need ambulances in Ukraine.
The opportunity:
I have made enquiries and discovered that a recommissioned ambulance can be purchased for around £12k.
We, the good people of Cobham RFC should easily be able to raise £15k so the vehicle can be filled with much needed medical supplies. We could be the first rugby club to do this and hopefully others will follow…
My part:
I’ll coordinate the ambulance, paperwork and I will deliver it to a suitable charity as close to the Ukrainian border as safely possible.
Please donate whatever you can as soon as you can towards the ‘Cobham rugby club ambulance for Ukraine’.
