Support Caitlin's Sustainable Building Program

If you’ve spent enough time with me, you’ve (very) likely heard about my hobbit home obsession—or maybe even endured me forcing you to watch TikToks about cob homes and natural buildings (sorry! haha). What started as a dream to live in one of these homes one day has turned into something much larger—building a retreat center and alternative accommodations using regenerative and sustainable practices.

This March, I have the opportunity to attend a 5-week cob building program in Costa Rica. The program will teach me how to build cob structures from the ground up, combining hands-on techniques with a deep understanding of sustainable design.

I have worked in hospitality and events for years and have been fascinated by hotels and spaces that really strive to make their stay a true experience. Now, I want to create my own, and this course is the first step in making that a reality.

The total cost of the program, supplies, and housing is about $3,200, with $1,350 needed to secure my spot.
