Coastalong: A Student-Led Sustainable Music Festival at UCLA

Donation protected
Coastalong is a completely student-run, bike-powered music and sustainability festival at UCLA created to show that celebration and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand. What makes Coastalong unique is that the stage is powered by people — attendees hop on bikes and pedal to generate the electricity that fuels the live performances. Beyond the music, we bring together sustainability-focused vendors, interactive educational booths, and student organizations to create an experience that is both fun and meaningful. It’s a space where creativity, movement, and climate awareness all come together in one afternoon.

We’re raising money to help cover facilities, artist, supplies, and marketing costs so we can make this event possible and keep it free and accessible to students and the broader community. As a student-led initiative, every dollar directly supports the infrastructure that allows us to power the stage, book artists, and build an engaging, zero-waste focused environment. Anything helps, and we are so grateful for your support in helping us pedal Coastalong forward - thank you all so much!
