Coastal Ridge team members, friends, and family,

It’s been a little over a week since Hurricane Helene. The impacts of this storm are historic – resulting in indescribable flooding, wind damage, destruction, and tragically, loss of life. With a substantial presence in the path of this storm, we are thankful to be able to report that all of our local team members and their families are safe and accounted for at this time. While some of the area was spared, nearly a dozen of our Carolina and surrounding area-based colleagues have suffered a complete or partial loss of their homes or possessions.

Enriching lives through real estate is our mission at Coastal Ridge; a fundamental principle upon which our firm was founded, and a belief that should carry through in all that we do. Right now, we are especially looking to serve our very own team members and their families that suffered loss during this storm. This donation is designed to support our Coastal Ridge colleagues and their families as they recover and rebuild.

We are in awe of the many organizations and charities across the country that pledge their support to hurricane-relief efforts; however, our intention is to support our team members and their families with funds in their hands quickly. Most financial relief can take months to receive, but your financial support to the Coastal Ridge GoFundMe will help our team members at Coastal Ridge immediately as they are rebuilding their homes, identifying safe and alternative childcare options, purchasing things like food and drinking water, and navigating emergency relocation expenses.

We are launching the GoFundMe today, with a goal to raise $10,000+ and close the account on 10/16/22, which allows us to distribute funds by 10/18/22. The Partners of Coastal Ridge Real Estate have generously offered to kickstart the fundraising, pledging a dollar-for-dollar match up to $5,000. Our firm is 750+ team members strong, so a $10 or $20 donation will go a long way if we all band together to help those that are suffering great loss.
