Running the Humber Coastal 10k… in Lifeboat Kit!
Hi everyone,
This year, myself and my friend Dave are taking on the ABP Humber Coastal 10k with a twist! Instead of just running in normal kit, we’ll be completing the race in full RNLI inshore lifeboat gear (ILB kit).
Why? Because as proud serving crew members at RNLI Cleethorpes Lifeboat Station, we know first-hand the importance of the RNLI and the difference it makes in saving lives at sea. Running 10km is tough enough, but doing it in full kit is our way of going the extra mile (literally!) to raise vital funds.
We’re aiming to raise at least £600 to support the RNLI, helping to fund the equipment, training, and resources that keep our crews ready to respond whenever the call comes in. Every donation, big or small, will directly help save lives.
Please support us if you can—your generosity will make a real impact and keep the RNLI doing what it does best: saving lives at sea.
