Coal the Warrior

Donation protected

Update:
She is in the hospital ... again, for what feels like the 1,000th time. She has fractured vertebrae in her neck and back because of the evil cancer consuming her bones, an obstruction in her abdomen, a different cancer in her thyroid, plus a million other trolls in her body trying to take her down. She is the fiercest person we have ever known and she's fighting all these trolls like the warrior she is. Please keep her in your thoughts and send positivity and love her way. ❤️

Coal was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on February 14th.

She went into urgent care with a weird feeling in her leg. That feeling turned out to be blood clots that occurred as a result of pancreatic cancer. At that time, they also found masses in her liver, breast and lymph nodes. After the biopsy on her liver, the unimaginable news came that it was, in fact, late-stage pancreatic cancer that had spread.

Without batting an eye, Coal has decided to fight this monster with every ounce of her being.

To know Coal is to love Coal. Anyone who has ever met her knows what a beautiful human she is. She is so incredibly strong and always helps everyone with no questions asked.

Coal is a warrior. An adventurer. She is a devoted and doting mom. A design guru. She is a pool playing, plant loving, fur baby mama. She is incredibly empathetic and an amazing listener. Coal is the best friend you could ever wish for. She is the most giving and caring woman we’ve ever met. She is a fearless 90s Alaskan punk band member and a total pirate. Coal has Southside Minneapolis pride and is an advocate for the people. She is a tattooed trail blazer and an unbelievably talented artist who has invested her life into improving communities and neighborhoods.

Now it is time to help Coal, just as she would help anyone who needs it.

The funds collected in this GoFundMe will go directly to Coal and her kids to help them with all of the expected and unexpected costs of battling cancer, including hospital costs, food for the kids and pets, medications, and self care.

Thank you for helping our friend. Please share this with everyone you know to support the incomparable Coal.
