Let’s join forces to save one of Boulder County’s only Bowling Alleys – Locally-Owned, Family-Run Coal Creek Bowling Center in Lafayette.
This goal of $30,000 can be achieved if each person who has had a connection with Coal Creek Bowling Center contributes at least $20.00. This is like donating 1 night of league, or 1-2 hours of open bowling!
A true community Center, Coal Creek holds a special place in the hearts of countless people. Covid-19 has greatly impacted Coal Creek with decreased capacity, but with no change in overhead costs. Our generous community, when we come together, can save this incredible place for ourselves, family, and friends to enjoy for years to come.
How will my money be spent?
- In a response to Covid-19, Coal Creek is building walls to separate its square footage into dedicated rooms and allow for more people to enjoy the space while ensuring their safety.
Cost: $5,000
- The dedicated staff of Coal Creek have been working endlessly with reduced personnel of 5 people since early 2020. It has reached a point that their wages are not guaranteed with current business operations. Raising enough to cover 6 weeks of wages.
Cost: $15,000
- Even in a pandemic, it costs money to keep the lights on, the complex machinery maintained, and oil on the lanes. Raising enough to cover 6 weeks of overhead costs.
Cost: $10,000
