Friends and Family,
On July 3, 2016 our beloved Sherman Anderson, who is a basketball coach and disabled veteran, was non-responsive as I tried to wake him up around 5am. His sons tried to administer CPR until the ambulance arrived and then proceeded to watch as they took over. Unfortunately, the EMTs were unable to revive him and pronounced him "gone" in that moment. The cause is supposed to believe to have been a diabetic coma.
As they journeyed to the hospital, they were able to regain a pulse and replenish a bit of hope for his family. However, a number of Sherman's organs are still not functioning to normal levels.
Their passionate team of supporters have been taking turns to share their love and encouragement around the clock. Hoping any words and physical touches get through and ignite the miracle we are all wishing for.
As you can imagine, they are currently incurring and plan to continue to incur a number of medical expenses from this momentus occurrence.
Please keep Sherman and family in your prayers, as they are going to continue to cheer him on in the fight for his life.
God bless.
