MY STORY
The majority of people who know me, know that I have been a Coach John Wooden fan for many years and had the opportunity to meet him on two occasions. Recently, in my devotions I was thinking about what I have a passion for, and the answer is "coaching" and making a difference for Christ in the lives of people, especially young people.
THE TRAINING
I discovered that there is a 5-day course offered to be a certified trainer for the Coach Wooden material, which would allow me the opportunity to conduct training sessions, workshops, practices, and seminars for coaches, teams, organizations and businesses that would like to understand and incorporate the values, principles, life lessons, and wisdom of legendary UCLA basketball coach John Wooden.
THE COST
The cost for this course is $4,000 + my travel, hotel and meal expense. This is the first time this course has been offered and it will take place on June 12-16. I've never used Go Fund Me or any other forum to raise money for myself so this feels very awkward, but I thought I would give it a try and see how God leads. I'm not a big facebook user, so please feel free to pass this along to your friends.
