Azle Youth Sports is asking for your support in helping one of our family members. On July the 4th, second grade cheer coach, Josh George, suffered serious injuries as a result of a firework discharging directly in to his face. Josh was airlifted to JPS where he underwent immediate surgery. While he is in recovery and good spirits (anyone who knows Josh knows that he is always in good spirits), he has a long road ahead of him both physically and financially. While most of the injuries will heal with time, Josh will no longer have sight out of his right eye and may need a prosthetic eye. AYS is asking for your support in eliminating some of the financial burden Josh faces as a result of this unfortunate accident. Josh is a long term resident of Azle and Class of 96 graduate. Josh was a cheerleader for Texas Tech and has spent the last few years teaching cheer to the youth in our community. Anyone who knows Josh knows that he is one of the warmest and most passionate people in our great town. The George family appreciates your support as does the AYS family.
