Coaches Vs. Cancer In Memory of Stewart Morgan
Donation protected
"For over 25 years, the Coaches vs. Cancer program, in collaboration with the National Association of Basketball Coaches, has united coaches and fans nationwide to help the American Cancer Society defeat a common enemy – cancer. With your passion and dedicated support, the impact has been felt in communities nationwide.
Through fundraising and education initiatives, the Coaches vs. Cancer program has supported the American Cancer Society in our efforts to save lives from cancer in the US and worldwide. The battle isn’t over, and we need you on our team. Whether you’re a coach, player, or fan –you can join us in our fight against cancer."
This year Ian will be joining his brother-in-law, Sean, to golf in memory of Ian's wonderful father, Stewart Morgan. Stewart was a dedicated father and grandfather, an avid golfer, and a passionate youth coach. Thanks to the work of organizations like the American Cancer Society, Stewart was able to fight this awful disease for nearly 14 years. While fighting, Stewart participated in numerous clinical trials in hopes that his participation could lead to answers for others going through the same thing. On November 8, 2018 Stewart lost his battle, but we continue to honor him by supporting the fight to find a cure. All money raised through this Go Fund Me campaign will be donated in Stewart's memory at the American Cancer Society’s 14th Annual Coaches vs. Cancer Las Vegas Golf Classic, which takes place on May 16-18, 2021.
