Coach Schlink- the man with the Biggest Heart!

In Eagan, Minnesota there are many great people, but one of the greatest is Mike Schlink. For over 45 years, the man affectionately known to all as "Coach", has brightened the lives of every student, parent and coworker he meets. He has encouraged students in the classroom, on the court, out on the diamond and on the field. After retirement and several years as Dakota Hills Middle School's greatest and most faithful substitute, it was discovered that some repair is needed on the biggest heart around. Mr. Schlink will be having open heart surgery soon and it is our hope that all of the people who have been touched by his kindness will put on their rally caps for him.

These funds will offset the portion of the procedure and rehab that is not covered by his insurance, as well as the loss of his wages during this time. Coach's bright smile and positive attitude are infectious. He has given countless encouragement, candy and Mountain Dews during his time teaching and coaching. He is the most generous person, always giving to those in need. Please consider donating and spreading the word to anyone who has gone through Eagan schools and knows this Legend!
