Sam E. Robinson Jr., known as Coach Rob, was a social studies teacher, coach, and mentor to thousands of students during his time at Marcos de Niza, South Mountain, and Tempe High School in Mesa, AZ. Coach Rob believed in his students and players unconditionally and encouraged all to achieve their life goals on and off the field.  

To honor Coach Rob's memory, his family is establishing the Coach Rob Student Empowerment Fund to help students achieve their goals. Whether a student needs wifi access to complete online work, a pair of football cleats, or assistance with college application fees, Coach Rob believed all students should have access to resources to achieve their dreams.
