Coach Dean Powell passed away on Saturday December 12th. Dean had been very ill, although he never wanted anyone to ever feel sorry for him,  so he was very private with his health.  Dean lived to teach and mentor and touched many lives during his work as a basketball coach. He was a great friend and would do anything for anyone who needed help. Dean also briefly enjoyed podcasting and loved making people laugh through his Tiktok videos. Dean is an only child, and his elderly mother Jean lives in Las Vegas and is too ill to travel. Dean was not able to work much during the last few years of his life due to his health issues and due to this he did not have any arrangements set. Please help me collect $1500 which will be used for his cremation and basic costs. We will arrange some type of video/virtual memorial as well.
