Coach Phil Jones Memorial Shorter Football Jersey

The inaugural head football coach at Shorter University, Phil Jones was a mentor to many and preached relationships.  These relationships were with the team, the University and most importantly a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  Coach Jones passed away in December 2020 and many of the former players reached out to me and Coach Morrison trying to figure out how to honor him.  We have worked to construct a throwback jersey with the royal and gold with a "Phil Jones- Relationships" patch on the jersey.  

We would love to raise funds to get the Shorter University football team this jersey, in which the Shorter Hawks will wear once a year to honor Coach Phil Jones.  I am currently working with Coach Morrison and other former Alumni in creating a video to show Coach Jones while at Shorter and bringing in some of his old players who he made such a substantial impact on while they were at Shorter and into our adulthood.  The purpose of the jersey's is to honor Coach Jones to keep his legacy alive each year and that the current and future Hawks understand where we came from and the man that help start this amazing program.
