Hey everyone,

I hope this message finds everyone happy and healthy. Its never fun to get in touch under such terrible circumstances, but this page has been started because a beloved member of the CW Post family needs our help.

Recently, its come to our attention that Coach Pete Timmes, has fallen on some hard times and is currently homeless. To make matters worse - his 87 year old mother is right by his side living in the streets.

As you may be aware - we initially used Tim Keinath (Post Baseball Alum) venmo account. NOT SURPRISINGLY - the "Baseball Family" has stepped up and sent in MANY donations the past few days. Due to TK being a Police Officer, there are many grey areas to him running lead and accepting donations. The decision was made to start a Go Fund Me page. ALL PRIOR DONATIONS have been added to this page!

No donation is too small. We completely understand that not all are in a position to donate, so leaving a comment below will brighten his day as well.

Thanks to Tommy Merkle and his partner John Matarazzo (MTA Police), along with donations that have already been made - Pete and Mom are currently staying in a hotel while things settle down a bit. The ultimate goal is to find a place for Pete and Mom to rent, until he can get back on his feet.

It's amazing how many lives Coach Timmes has touched over the years....the fact that a New York Tech ballplayer has helped in such a big way, just shows the power of the baseball family (Most of you know the WARS that Post and Tech used to have!).
