Coach Mark Leotti

Coach Mark has been a staple in the dek hockey community for many years, especially at GTHA. He has dedicated his time, energy, love and support to so many of our children. Now Mark and his family need our help as he battles health struggles.

On Sunday, July 24th Mark went into the hospital with severe abdominal pain and bloating. He was quickly diagnosed with liver failure, jaundice and extreme excess abdominal fluids all of which was cause by a mass that was discovered on the liver. They were able to relieve some of his pain by draining over 4 liters of fluid and after 6 days in the hospital, many tests and lots of medications he was sent home.

Mark is still facing many medical procedures including an MRI in hopes of diagnosing the mass on his liver, possible biopsies, recurring abdominal drainages every 2-3 weeks amongst other things. Because of the time in the hospital, necessary medical appointments and feeling unwell, Mark has missed a good deal of work. On top of missing work, medical bills are piling up.

Mark has always rallied around everyone in their time of need, being the first one to reach out or get the ball rolling on organizing support. Now, it is Mark and his family that need our help.

Any and all money raised here will go directly to the Leotti’s for bills and medical expenses.
